We use the right consumer group to evaluate your food and beverages. During the tests, we provide a suitable atmosphere and use targeted questions to determine the probands' opinions in order to generate the best insights for you.

Design

We are thoroughly prepared. A kick-off meeting is central: face-to-face, by phone or online. We are happy to use your questionnaire or support you with our market research know-how in the professional preparation of a questionnaire as well as an interview guideline.

Conduct

The tests are conducted by experienced interviewers. During the tasting, the probands give their opinion, which is going to be recorded online right away. The implementation takes place in a professional test studio. During the interviews, we always keep the aim of the study in mind.

Postprocessing

A proper debriefing is vital. Right after the interviews are done, we are happy to share our first impressions regarding the analysis with you. Upon request, we assist you in analyzing the results using common qualitative analysis methods: transparent and traceable.

Project schedule

The procedure of a degustation study is usually done in four steps
Schritt 1 Degustation

Step 1

About 5 – 10 weekdays
In the first instance it is important to set the goal of the study. Above all, correct questioning is crucial. We are happy to assist you designing the questionnaire. This also includes the conception of an interview guide.

Step 2

About 5 weekdays

You select a German metropolis for the study to be carried out and we take care of everything else. For the implementation we select a professional testing studio in Hamburg, Munich or Cologne. The testing studios offer a lot of space and various possibilities, so that we can also accommodate devices with special requirements (such as ovens, power cables etc.). Just let us know and we will find the right solution!

Step 3

About 5 weekdays
Regarding the recruitment we make sure to select suitable probands according to your target group. For example, 18 to 30-year-olds with very specific consumption behavior. We recruit the probands from the street and the interviews are conducted directly in the testing studio. Based on our experience, a volume of 100 interviews with the target group is to be set as a minimum number of cases.

Step 4

About 15 – 18 weekdays

The testers' answers are recorded digitally on site and then checked for plausibility. The open mentions are going to be coded according to a code plan. Afterwards, we provide you with the collected data as a raw data record and create a detailed and descriptive analysis report, which summarizes the insights in a nutshell.
