Design

Conduct

We recruit the participants through our own database and stand for unconsumed subjects who contribute to valuable insights. A focus group discussion is usually conducted in six steps.

Clarify objective

Together we will clarify with you the objective of your study project. What insights do you want to gain? How deep should the focus group immerse in the research question? What do you want to achieve with the results and how do you want to continue using them afterwards?

Create a moderation guide

Based on the jointly developed objective a moderation guide will be created. This structures the procedure of the group discussion. Contents are e.g. attitudes of the participants to the object of investigation, associations, strengths and weaknesses, tasks for a workshop etc.

Recruit participants

Based on the requirements of the participants, we recruit them for the group discussion, schedule possible appointments and clarify the incentives (e.g. financial incentive to participate).Generally, a focus group is over-recruited, so that more participants are invited than required. This ensures that enough focus group participants appear. We are very experienced in group composition and can also help recruit "difficult" focus groups.

Conduct focus group discussion

The group discussion is conducted in suitable test studios. If you want to capture moods from several cities, we are happy to organize the conduct. A focus group usually lasts between 1.5 and 2 hours. You can follow the process. Either on site through mirrored walls or live via video transmission.

Analyze results

We summarize the results from the individual focus groups and analyze them with regard to the desired goals. We develop recommendations for action and prepare them for you in a graph report or in a continuous text.

Run final discussion

In the context of a final discussion, we will present you the results obtained and discuss with you their significance for your goals.
